Let’s call it what it is. Despite the fact that just about every car dealership in the country would claim that they would be considered “aggressive” when it comes to marketing strategies, the vast majority of them are not. If the OEM is giving co-op money for an inferior service, most dealers will accept the service even if there are more aggressive opportunities. If there’s a product that steps outside of the box and isn’t completely understood, most dealers avoid it.
The strategies that we promote at Dealer Authority are not for every dealer. It might be fair to say that 99% of dealers in the country would not want to participate in the majority of the strategies that we offer simply because they’re not the cheapest, they’re not endorsed by OEMs, and they operate with a willingness to step on a few toes along the road to domination. We understand. We’re not for everyone.
